I’m a Kuwaiti guy now living and working in Kuwait after having lived in Europe for a bit. I’ve thought long and hard about starting a blog but as I always have an opinion about anything and (everything!) in Kuwait I thought this would be the best place to share them with expats (being an “ex expat” myself overseas) and Kuwaitis. Personally it also gives me a good break to talk about things which have nothing to do with work or other serious stuff.
This blog is just my own take on things in (and sometimes outside) Kuwait. I was wondering what I should call this blog until I settled on The Q80 Mix. Why? Because it has more than one meaning, any and all of which could apply. It could be about me, the different topics covered in this blog, all the types of music I’m into or maybe a reference to when I used to DJ?
This blog will cover news, views and reviews in Kuwait and outside. Restaurants, events, movies and music are just some of the topics I will be talking about and I’ll be sharing things I find interesting going on in the world and on the Net. I’ll also be posting about my experiences when I travel - all from a Kuwaiti/ ‘international’ perspective. But what this blog is really about is sharing an honest opinion in a (hopefully) refreshing way. Hope you enjoy The Q80 Mix !
