Hip Hop Songs Like You’ve Never Heard Them Before
While I was over Italy I heard a song on the radio which sounded very familiar, but was completely different from the original. It was an acoustic version of the 50Cent/Justin Timberlake song Ayo Technology ! I thought the original version was OK when it was released but this remake sounds amazing. After a bit of research I found out that its by a Belgian singer called Milow and is a huge hit in Europe ! Here are a couple of clips:
The first one is the official video of Milow’s version of Ayo Technology - the video is a bit weird but the song is great. The second clip is of Milow doing an improvised version of Snoop Dogg’s “Drop it Like Its Hot” at a radio station. When you consider that he only had less than 10 minutes to prepare his version, it’s unbelievably cool.
