Cool McDonald’s Poster Ads
I don’t normally eat fast food but when I do its really tough for me to go anywhere other than McDonald’s, especially here in Kuwait. For me its their fantastic french fries that hook me in. The food also generally feels lighter and less greasy than the other fast food restaurants.
McDonald’s also comes out on top in my eyes when it comes to clever advertising. The website The Design Inspiration has listed 40 of the most original McDonald’s ads.

Oh and look out for the ‘Make a Deal’ posters - They seem to have a good idea of what parents sometimes need to do, to keep their kids happy LOL !

The quality of the burger bun from EVERY fastfood chain here is sub-par! Apart from the patty itself the bun is the most important part of a burger! It tastes reallyy soft and squishyy and off!
Let’s face it no fast food chains serve proper burgers. I would rather have a shawerma, but MacD’s is usually the quick and convenient choice (plus its their fries!).
For a good burger (patty+bun) you need to dine in. One of the best I had and which surprised me was Applebees of all places.
I have heard the Gaucho Grill burger is top notch.

Burger Boutique and Johnny Rockets have very good burgers.
In Kuwait it really is tough to avoid fast food - it’s everywhere !! Burger Boutique gets a (ketchup covered) thumbs up from me. JR burgers are tasty, but there are others which are better. JR burgers are also a little on the small side.
desertpalms : so which fast food chains abroad have above par buns? i think there are some decent buns in kuwait. (no pun intended)
I also go for McDonalds! I used to love the whopper, but not after my incident with Mr. BK!

la2 I meant compared to the same chains mentioned eg McDs, Burger King, the burger tastes so much better in the uk (and while we’re at it..so does the sweet and sour sauce which tastes like crap here!) because the bun isnt all soft like ive noticed it being in kuwait! which sucks since its not halal meat over there..meh.
I spend 3/4+ months fantasizing about eating a big mac/whopper and then it ends up tasting like mould!! =/ madri..maybe its just my luck that I get the expired outofdate buns!
Ansam: Whopper has a bad after taste, there’s also a weird taste to their fries. After reading what you went through it confirmed what I always thought. McD’s is the safe option !

desertpalms : Mouldy buns, can’t think of anything worse for a burger. To be honest I don’t hang around examining the bun, its open the box and attack as I’m usually starving:)
McDs fries are perfect on their own. Seriously I’m not even tempted to add ketchup let alone your exotic dipping sauce !! :)
The best burger I have ever had in McDs was the limited special ‘M Burger’ last year in England. I remember it being so good that I couldn’t believe it was from a fast food chain. Great bread and had this amazing cheese.
I also tried the ‘M Burger’ from Maccy Ds and it was really tasty! Im not usually a fan of hamburgers but u can tell they use a better piece of beef in that burger compared to the other ones and your right, the chiabatta bun it comes in along with that better quality cheese tops it off! Its a shame its not around anymore! A bit more expensive than the other burgers but definately worth it!
Yeah they should bring it back ! I think people are willing to pay the extra for a better quality burger

The fish fillet is an underated sandwich. It is good, but I always ask for no cheese. Cheese and fish don’t mix !
