Is it a man ? Is it a woman ?
The last couple of days I have heard about a big controversy in athletics and its not about steroids or drugs. South African runner Caster Semenya easily won the woman’s 800m gold in the World Athletics Championships in Berlin. But the big controversy about the win is that the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) has asked Caster Semenya to do a gender test. Basically a test to confirm if she is really a woman or a guy !!
After watching the clip it looks pretty obvious to me, but check it out for yourself !

Well she certainly looks and talks like a man. If u notice when they question her she doesn’t look at the reporter when she answers. If she is a woman u would think she would look right in that reporter’s eye and tell him straight.
Who knows…I only hope she doesn’t turn out to be a woman as that would just be so cruel of the world to call her a man. No woman wants to be called a man!!
I didn’t notice that she wasn’t looking at the reporter. That is a sign of someone not telling the truth !

I think its a man trying to look like a woman, but doing a terribile job :)
I actually think it’s a woman who is just very masculine. She is obviously taking some sort of steroids as they found large quantities of testosterone in her.
Cast your memory back to Fatima Whitbread…remember her…look how masculine she was!!
If she was white and from a Western European country, do you think that the IAAF would have handled this differently?
If the IAAF turns up to have falsely accused her, they owe her and her country a BIG apology.
Just because she looks different, that does not mean there is anything wrong with her.

Night Flower : Yeah I remember Fatima Whitbread, but there was never a controversy about her..and she looked more of woman than this runner !
gasman : Well the news about the test was apparently leaked by accident, when someone sent a fax about the test to the wrong person ! I’m sure the IAAF would not want to have made this public.
