Ramadan Kareem

I would like to wish you all a very blessed Ramadan and Mubarak 3laykom al shaher.
I know a lot of you who read this blog live outside Kuwait and I wish you all the best for the month ahead and hope the fasting is not too heavy a burden. I have fasted during Ramadan when living outside and I know how challenging it is and especially as you are away from your families.
Best wishes to you all.

I will only start fasting when I my self see the moon!! I am just in a trust no one kind of mood:)
Why are we trusting old religious men to see the moon, they all have a poor eye sight, when was the last time you met an old man with perfect vision!! No wonder Ramadan the 1st ( an actual scientific DATE) is different depending on whether you live in Surra or Jabriya!!
Ramadan Kareem to you and your Family.
Gasman is notorious for saying the strangest things when he is hungry!!
I think the fact that he won’t be enjoying hot fresh Iranian Khubaz this year has really got to him!! Don’t worry we still have supermarket pita bread to enjoy :)
embarak 3alaik ilshahar :)
shloon the 1st day ?? hard ?? wela 3adi? ;p
o i think gasman has a good point about the old religious men thing lol ;p
embarak 3alaikom eshahar o 3asakom min 3owadah
Ramadan abroad is very challenging even for those who have been living outside for many years. I miss kuwait the most in ramadan and especially the night life after ftoor. Yalla ishallah next year :)
Ohhh… Fresh Iranina Khubis ymmmmm…
Mbarak 3laikom il shahar
Gasman : Are you being sponsored by Vision Express ? lol ! The start and especially end day of Ramadan is always a big talking point. I guess things wouldn’t be the same if there was no discussion :) Ramadan Kareem to you and your family too.
Night Flower : I figured as much ! I think he is more upset about not being able to have fresh kanaafa ! :)
SaRooN : 3alaina wa 3alaich ! First day was 3adi, but today because I had to go to work was harder. Bs ashwa I am not a smoker otherwise I can imagine it being much more difficult.
Ansam : 3alaina wa 3alaikom !
Ali Rome : I agree ! It is THE most difficult time when living abroad. Hopefully watching the game show “Feker wa Irbah” will help :) 3alaina wa 3alaikom
I couldn’t see “Faker wa Irbah” yesterday :( Do they still show it? Walla this show kept me – and others – company in Ramadan for many years.. what a laugh!!
Ouch….Fresh Kanafa…. yeah u know that knife I stabbed Gasman earlier with, u know the one with the fresh Iranian Khubaz line…yeah well u have just twisted it by mentioning the word Kanafa…lol!!
Ali Rome : I suppose its still going. I agree lot of fun, especially when they ask if there are any choices for the answer. (Imaginary egg thrown at the face lol!)
Night Flower : There’s just so much kanafa here that I think the sky will turn orange! (Am I twisting the knife more ? heheehehehe)
The knife has come out the other side!!
