Showtime Merges With Orbit
Just saw a commercial on Showtime explaining that Showtime customers can now watch Orbit channels like America Plus and Super Movies for free ! Showtime and Orbit have now merged so in the future you only have to subscribe with one company rather than both.
There’s not really much on Orbit that I would be looking forward to getting (apart from maybe Jay Leno and Conan). I would have been more excited had Al Jazeera and Showtime got together - that way for this year I would get all the good football.

So you cant be on Orbit and view showtime channels for free yet? Is it only the other way around?
The advert said that Orbit customers will also get the Showtime channels for free (which is a beter deal). But reading the announcement it seems that this free stuff is only till mid - August. Then you have to pay extra !
Yes, the new company will be an equal partnership between the Orbit Group (Mawarid Group) and Showtime Arabia (KIPCO). They will offer more than 70 channels (with first run movies, shows, sports, and more…. ya3ni exclusive!)
70 channels is pretty amazing !! Was thinking of cancelling next Summer, but might keep it on now
