An Easy Way To Watch Video Files On Your TV
I was checking out the electronics in Carrefour last weekend and spotted this cool device in the aisle where they keep the USB hard drives. The Western Digital TV HD Media Player allows your USB hard drives to instantly become multimedia players by easily connecting them to your TV.
So basically any movies, TV shows, photos or video clips which are currently on your external USB hard drive can be played directly onto your TV in full HD. You therefore skip the hassle of connecting your laptop/camcorder/digital camera to the TV or having to burn countless discs to play on your DVD player. You just connect the USB drives to the Western Digital TV HD Media Player device and connect the device to your TV. The device looks so portable and can take 2 USB external hard drives at the same time. But the really cool thing is that it comes with a remote control so it acts like a DVD player !
The Western Digital TV HD Media Player is only selling for KD32 in Carrefour which is slightly cheaper than the price on Amazon.com. For that price I’m going to pick one up next weekend.

I usually use an hdmi cable, but this seems sooo much better.

personally i would just watch the series/films that i’ved downloaded onto my usb on my laptop..bas it sounds like a good idea! it would be so much more comfortable sitting back on the sofa and watching it on the big plasma screen..hmm might just get it! thanks =D
I much prefer to watch things on the big screen with the surround sound. What I do at the moment is burn them onto a blank DVD and play them on my DVD player. But I love the flexibility this device gives you. Everything is in one place.
