Bruno – The Movie

After Ali G and then Borat comes Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest character Bruno, a gay Austrian fashion reporter. The movie is due for release this summer and I’ve just watched the trailer which has just been released on-line. The movie looks hilarious and I can’t wait to see it. Its the same type of concept as Borat, filmed in a mock documentary style where people don’t realise they are in a comedy. The one thing I’ve heard about this movie is that its even more politically incorrect than Borat (didn’t think that could be possible !). So if you hated Borat just ignore the rest of this post. Otherwise read on !
The movie’s full title is Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt. So you get an idea what you’re in for! Judging from the trailer, if they decide to show the movie here in the cinema it would probably only last 5 minutes. So I’ll have to catch it on my travels. Click on the link below if you want to check out the trailer:
WARNING : The trailer has a ‘Mature’ rating. It is pretty rude in places and not for the easily offended. If that doesn’t bother you then you will be laughing, that’s for sure!
Update: I have fixed the link (again) as the trailer keeps being taken off You Tube. If it still doesn’t work you can try going to http://www.thebrunomovie.com/bruno-movie-trailer/. If that doesn’t work you’ll just have to wait till it comes out :)
Update 2 : You can check out my review of Bruno and watch a couple of clips by clicking [here]

Oh man, hilarious trailer…I actually haven’t seen Borat but this one looks even more zany….American’s still don’t know him very well which is how he can get away with his antics without getting caught…
